NUGGETS WAIVE BOATENG
- Updated: October 20, 2010
The Denver Nuggets have waived Brit big man Eric Boateng.
The Brixton baller – an undrafted free agent – averaged 1.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in five preseason games. He had two points, 10 rebounds and two assists against the Los Angeles Clippers on October 17.
There are now rumours that Greek team Aris Thessaloniki is interested in landing the 24-year-old’s services.
The 6′ 10″ centre is coming off a decent senior year at Arizona State, during which he averaged 8.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
