SULLIVAN STOPS OFF IN LEICESTER
- Updated: October 14, 2011
Leicester Riders have agreed a deal to sign Great Britain captain Drew Sullivan, a week after the London-born forward terminated his contract with Mersey Tigers.
MVP understands that Sullivan has agreed a short-term deal with the Midlands club with an escape clause should a bigger and better offer come from overseas.
The 31-year-old is expected to make his debut on Saturday against London Leopards, along side rookie American centre Brett Royster, who has joined as a replacement for veteran Frank Holmes who has been released.
