STURGESS JOINS THE GLOBETROTTERS
- Updated: February 15, 2012
Loughborough’s Paul Sturgess has signed for the Harlem Globetrotters, becoming the famous team’s tallest-ever player.
The 2.33m (7-8) giant, who played collegiately at Florida Tech under ex-Leopards coach Billy Mims before transferring to Mountain State University in Virginia, will feature on the Trotters’ forthcoming UK tour.
Appropriately, the 24-year-old has been given the nickname ‘Tiny’.
