PAUL GUEDE GIVEN GB CALL
- Updated: August 23, 2013
Paul Guede has been called into the Great Britain squad to provide extra backcourt cover, ahead of this weekend’s friendlies against Sweden and Poland.
With Andrew Lawrence and Alex Marcotullio still struggling with injuries, the Gottingen guard gets a first senior summons since 2008.
And with GB head coach Joe Prunty set to decide on his EuroBasket squad on Monday, Guede is relishing a last-minute chance to impress.
Guede added: “It’s an honour to be invited to camp as there are so many talented players in Great Britain. I feel very blessed and extremely excited about this opportunity.”
