Former Great Britain forward Luol Deng has signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Londoner recently agreed a $7.5 million buyout from his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers where he made a solitary appearance last season as the fallen giants focused exclusively on youth.

He now re-joins his former Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau and a number of former team-mates in Minneapolis with the T-Wolves becoming his fifth NBA team.

Over his NBA career, the 33-year-old owns averages of 15.0 points on 45.5% shooting, 6.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
