RIDERS RUN OUT OF GAS

Short-handed Leicester Riders were crushed 95-60 at Dinamo Sassari in the FIBA Europe Cup.
The loss, which left the BBL champions 0-4, means they cannot qualify for the second phase of the competition.
Conner Washington had a team-high 16 points for Leicester who led briefly in the opening quarter but came undone during a 24-8 spurt for the Italians in the second.
They were without Kiefer Douse, JR Holder and DeAndre Burnett.
