A new NBA documentary about Scottish basketball will get its official premiere next week.

Make It Rain, produced by Matthew Halliwell, looks at the sport through its glory era in the 1960s to 1980s through formidable teams such as Boroughmuir, Falkirk and Edinburgh.

Narrated by Jim Naismith, the grandson of basketball’s inventor James Naismith, it features interviews with a number of prominent players including Alton Byrd, Kieron Achara and Robert Archibald, tracing up to the present day.

It will be shown on Sky Sports Action on Wednesday 22 May at 6.30pm and follows a visit by Jim Naismith, and the FIBA World Cup trophy, to Glasgow this week.
