GB GET ITALIAN JOB AT EUROBASKET 2022

Great Britain’s men are headed to Milan for FIBA EuroBasket 2022 following Thursday’s draw.
The first round will see GB, who were in the fifth of six pots of seeds, taking on former winners Italy and Greece, along with potent Croatia, Ukraine and Estonia.
Four teams from each group will advance into the knockout phase – staged in Berlin – beginning with the Round of 16.
The tournament, postponed from the current year, will run from 1-18 September 2022.
Group A (Tbilisi): Georgia, Turkey, Spain, Russia, Belgium, Bulgaria
Group B: (Cologne): Germany, Lithuania, France, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzigovina
Group C (Milan): Italy, Greece, Croatia, Ukraine, GREAT BRITAIN, Estonia
Group D (Prague): Czech Rep, Poland, Serbia, Finland, Israel, Netherlands
