The newly-named Birmingham Knights could be the only new entrant in the British Basketball League for next season after it was confirmed that East London Royals have been forced to pull out of moving into the top flight.
Reigning British Basketball League MVP Drew Sullivan has agreed a new one-year deal with Leicester Riders.
Cheshire Phoenix have named John Lavery as head coach, replacing Matt Lloyd.
Essex/London Leopards will not join the British Basketball League next season, as originally planned.

Newcastle Eagles player-coach Fab Flournoy believes Leicester Riders strength in depth will be a key factor at Wembley Arena on Sunday in the BBL Play-off final.
