POPS WATCH: THINGS LOOKING SHAKY?
- Updated: October 14, 2010
Pops Mensah-Bonsu’s quest to win a roster spot with New Orleans has taken a couple of knocks this week.
Why? Because the Hornets have just signed another big man, D.J. Mbenga, to a one year deal to bolster the team’s front line.
Meanwhile, the GB forward has seen his pre-season playing time drop from 12 minutes to 10 to five.
In last night’s win against a LeBron-less, Wade-less Miami Heat, Pops only recorded one stat…a turnover.
In lighter news, however, Pops revealed this week he’d had his first peanut and jelly sandwich. “It was an over-rated experience but was still good,” he told his Facebook fans.
