NEW JERSEY NET VICTORY
- Updated: March 4, 2011
The "home team" New Jersey Nets beat the Toronto Raptors 116-103 at London's O2 – in the first NBA regular season game ever to be played in Europe. Two-time All-Star Deron Williams provided plenty of ohhs and ahhs, and Brook Lopez top scored for the Nets with 25. But it was forward Kris Humphries who proved to be the big surprise as he went for 18 points and 17 rebounds.
The game marked an end to the Nets' six-game losing streak – and Williams' first win in a New Jersey uniform.
DeMar DeRozan led Toronto with 30 points and Andrea Bargnani added 23.
