EUROBASKET: SLOVENES END FINNS RUN

Slovenia grabbed the last available berth in the EuroBasket quarter-finals on Monday but they were made to fight to see off Finland and advance.
A 67-60 victory was enough to clinch fourth place in Group F and set up a game against defending champion Spain.
Greece beat Georgia 73-60 and will meet France in the quarterfinals.
Russia snatched a 63-61 win over Macedonia after Sergei Monia banked in a three-pointer on the buzzer. The result means the Russians face Serbia in the last eight while the Macedonians must square off with Lithuania.
