Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France and Turkey have completed the line-up for the women’s basketball tournament at the Olympic Games.
The five all emerged safely from the qualification tournament in Ankara which finished on Sunday.
The Canadians took the final spot by defeating Japan and join the French in Great Britain’s group, which also includes Russia, Australia and Brazil.
Group A: Czech Republic, Angola, USA, Croatia, Turkey, China
Group B: Russia, France, Australia, Great Britain, Brazil, Canada
The three remaining places at the Olympic Basketball Tournament for Men will be decided at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament for Men which started on Sunday in Venezuela.
