ACHARA SIGNS ON FOR ROCKS STINT
- Updated: October 1, 2012
Glasgow Rocks have pulled off a coup by agreeing a short-term deal with Great Britain international Kieron Achara.
The Stirling-born forward is still without a club after leaving Spanish ACB League side Manresa in the summer.
And after spending the last month training with Glasgow, he has signed with the team ahead of their debut at their new Emirates Arena home next weekend, against British Basketball League pacesetters Newcastle.
Achara, who top scored for Britain in their only Olympic win against China, had a previous one-game stint with the Rocks two years ago.
