POPS SET FOR MILAN MOVE
- Updated: January 9, 2013
Pops Mensah-Bonsu is on the verge of completing a move to Olimpia Milano but reports suggest the Italian club must clear salary room before signing the London-born forward.
The Great Britain international has been sidelined for six months while rehabbing after knee surgery following the Olympic Games.
It would be a second spell in Lega A for the former NBA player, who previously had a stint with Treviso.
Last season, Mensah-Bonsu led Turkish side Besiktas to the Eurochallenge as well as their domestic Cup and play-off crown.
Milan missed out on the Top 16 round of this season’s Euroleague.
