MENSAH-BONSU TO JOIN SEVILLA
- Updated: March 4, 2013
Great Britain star Pops Mensah-Bonsu is to end his seven month stint on the sidelines after joining Sevilla.
The Londoner, who underwent shoulder surgery after the Olympics, had originally signed for Milano earlier this year but the move broke down due to contractual difficulties with the Italian club.
Sevilla, who currently sit 13th in the ACB, recently released Latavious Williams and have been looking for a replacement centre.
It would be Mensah-Bonsu’s third stint in the Spanish league although his last planned spell, with Baskonia, ended in pre-season without a single competitive appearance.
The former NBA player began the season with Maccabi Tel Aviv but was released before training camp.
