BELARUS TO BE GB WOMEN’S FIRST TEST
- Updated: May 8, 2013
Great Britain’s women will start their build-up to EuroBasket Women this weekend with a low-key friendly against Belarus which marks the first of several warm-ups for Damian Jennings’ side.
The schedule, confirmed by FIBA Europe, includes three home ties in Guildford and a tournament in Sweden.
GB opened their training camp last weekend with question marks over several players due to injury or alternative commitments, including WNBA-bound Jo Leedham.
However Jennings has got his wish for enough preparatory games to assess his entire squad before whittling it down to 12 before EuroBasket begins on June 15.
Schedule

25-27 Four Nations (Guildford)
25 GB v Israel
26 GB v Germany
27 GB v Greece
31 GB v Turkey (Södertälje)
