Pops Mensah-Bonsu will once again try to land a spot in the NBA after landing a training camp contract with the Denver Nuggets.

The Londoner, now 31, finished last season with Turkish side Galatasary, but has now signed on for what becomes his 17th club in eight years, including NBA stops in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Toronto and New Orleans.

He also spent last pre-season in his adopted hometown of Washington but was waived by the Wizards before moving to Galatasary where his season was cut short by a knee injury.

Mensah-Bonsu played for Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics but has not appeared on international duty since.

The Nuggets have 19 players at camp with their European addition considered a long shot to earn a roster spot when the new season starts.
