Drew Sullivan will win his 100th cap after being confirmed in Great Britain’s team to take on New Zealand.

Joe Prunty has named a 12-strong roster, including seven new caps, for Saturday’s Copper Box friendly with veterans Kieron Achara and Dan Clark joining an inexperienced group that survived the cut after a four-day mini-camp in London – and Thursday’s closed door scrimmage that saw the Tall Blacks win 77-72 after leading by as much as 20 in the first half.

Seven players who participated in camp won’t be involved this weekend, with Fahro Alihodzic, Andrew Lawrence, Justin Robinson, Chris Caird, Alasdair Fraser, Christian Behrens and Paul Guede being released.

Robinson picked up an injury during the camp and Lawrence still has a little further to go in his rehabilitation programme.

“I’m really happy that the guys made it such a difficult decision to get down to 12 players,” said Prunty.

“Every player that came to camp can be very proud of what they achieved.
The guys that aren’t in the 12 for tomorrow played very well. It’s just a matter of only being able to have 12 guys suit up for the game.”
