ERIN KO’ED AS NIKITINAITE GETS MAIDEN CALL

Scottish forward Erin McGarrachan has been ruled out of Great Britain’s two opening EuroBasket qualifiers later this month.

The Leicester Riders star will miss the trip a Montenegro and a home clash with Italy after picking up a foot injury.

Sevenoaks Suns’ Gabby Nikitinaite, 17, has received her first call-up as a replacement by coach Chema Buceta ahead of the start of the campaign with the WBBL Young Player of the Year set to join the squad at a training camp in Guildford.
