Slovenia knocked holders Spain out of EuroBasket 2017 with a 92-72 semi-final rout in Istanbul.
And it wasn’t even close, with the Slovenes – inspired by Goran Dragic – pulling away with a 6-0 run at the start of the third quarter after leading 49-45 at half-time.
And with Spain’s seven strong NBA contingent struggling, 14-25 shooting from three-point range took Slovenia out of reach with Dragic scoring seven of his 15 points in the fourth to guide his nation to their first major final – against either Serbia or Russia on Sunday.
