NAVARRO CALLS TIME ON CAREER
- Updated: August 17, 2018

European basketball legend Juan Carlos Navarro is retiring as a player at the age of 38.
A statement from FC Barcelona, the club he served for almost all of his 20-year professional career, confirmed the shooting guard is calling time on the first leg of his career and will instead take a front office position at Palau Blaugrana.
Navarro suffered from injuries in recent seasons but was offered the chance to return next season.
Instead, ‘La Bomba’ leaves as one of Spain and the Euroleague’s all-time greats with almost every honour in the game, bar an Olympic title.
