NIEM HITCH FOR RIDERS

Leicester Riders could be without Niem Stevenson for their first FIBA Basketball Champions League qualifier.
The BBL champions host Bakken Bears next Thursday with the American shooting guard, who joined out of Texas Tech, hobbled by a knee injury.
“We stil don’t have a clear indication on when he’ll be back,” Riders coach Rob Paternostro told the BBC. “It’s tricky and we’re trying to figure it out right now. We don’t expect him to practice this week now.”
Swedish forward  Alex Larsson is however expected to recover after sitting out part of pre-season.
“He’s definitely better and it’s conditioning now for him,” Paternostro added.
