BBL strugglers Glasgow Rocks have signed Lithuanian guard Tadas Rinkunas to strengthen their squad.

The 27-year-old, who split last season between the Spanish and French leagues, is set to arrive next week.

“He brings some excellent experience to the roster, having spent most of his career playing professionally in Lithuania,” Rocks coach Darryl Wood said.

“He will add great value to what we have already on our roster.”

Meanwhile Bouna Ndiaye claims Glasgow must show a ruthless streak to move away from the foot of the standings.

And the Norwegian guard, one of the few bright sparks for the Rocks so far, has vowed to make a success of his BBL stint by leading their charge.

“I’m taking advantage of playing with veterans who have experience of different leagues,” he said. “I’ve had issues with being aggressive for an entire game so I want to work on that here and develop my killer instinct.

“Plus this league is way better than playing in Norway and I want to make sure I don’t go back there until I’m older.”
