Great Britain guard Rachael Vanderwal has signed for Belgium club Namur.

It ends the 36-year-old’s successful stint at Spanish club Gernika.

Namur, who finished fifth in their domestic league last season, will play in the EuroCup next term and that was an attraction, Vanderwal admits.

“I just fancied a change and it’s a really good set-up there.”

GB team-mate Eilidh Simpson has agreed a deal with Czech club Ostrava but Karlie Samuelson, who played for Belgian champions Castors Braine, has confirmed she expects to play elsewhere in 2019-20.
