The London Lions have added American forward Orlando Parker to boost their squad.

He recently completed four seasons with PS Karlsruhe in Pro A in Germany where he averaged 12 points and six rebounds a game.

Lions head voach, Vince Macaulay, said: “We needed to address our imbalance. Byron Mullens is still away till the end of the month on a family matter in the US whilst injuries to Shane Walker, Josh Ward-Hibbert and Joe Ikhinmwin have hurt us in this area.

Orlando is an athletic guy that can shoot the ball but most importantly likes to rebound and work the glass, I believe his game will suit the BBL well.”

Parker may see action in the Lions games this weekend Friday night when the Lions travel to the Newcastle Eagles and Sunday at the Copper Box Arena versus the Leicester Riders at 2.30pm, the game being live streamed on the Lions website for our fans..

Kervin Bristol has been de-registered from the BBL roster to make room.
